    Shop Foreman – Machine Build & Fabrication
    Location: On-site | Full-Time
    Schedule: Day Shift (with flexibility for project deadlines)

    Lead. Build. Deliver.

    We are seeking a hands-on Shop Foreman to lead daily operations while actively contributing to machine builds, machining, and fabrication. This role blends leadership + technical expertise, guiding a skilled team while ensuring projects are delivered on time, on spec, and with top-tier quality.

    Lead & Develop the Team

    • Supervise and mentor machinists, assemblers, fabricators, and technicians

    • Assign priorities, manage workflow, and drive productivity

    • Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and craftsmanship

    Stay Hands-On

    • Lead machine builds, sub-assemblies, alignment, and installation

    • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and support system integration

    • Oversee machining, fabrication, and welding quality

    Drive Quality & Safety

    • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and BOMs

    • Ensure adherence to quality standards and resolve non-conformances

    • Enforce shop safety protocols (PPE, LOTO, rigging, etc.)

    Support Planning & Execution

    • Coordinate schedules, labor, and shop capacity

    • Assist with estimating, tooling needs, and production planning

    • Participate in build reviews, testing, and occasional client interaction

    Proven experience leading teams in a machine shop or custom equipment build environment

    • Strong hands-on background in mechanical assembly, machining, and troubleshooting

    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, BOMs, and technical documentation

    • Solid understanding of quality control and shop safety standards

    • Comfortable with computers (ERP systems, job tracking, digital drawings)

    • Exposure to PLC/controls integration or troubleshooting

    • Experience with estimating, quoting, or production planning

    • Continuous improvement or workflow optimization mindset

    Compensation: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
