Machine Shop Associate

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Machine Shop Associate to join their team. As a Machine Shop Associate, you will be part of the production support team, contributing to the efficient operation of the shop floor. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Shop Associate

Location: Winston-Salem, NC

Pay Range: $14/hr and up DOE

Shift: 1st Shift: Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with some Fridays required

What's the Job?

• Perform grinding and sanding on metal components to meet specifications
• Assist in paint line/finishing operations (experience required for paint roles)
• Complete general labor and production duties as assigned
• Accurately read and use a tape measure for measurements and quality checks
• Inspect parts for quality and ensure finished products meet company standards

What's Needed?

• Entry-level candidates are welcome; manufacturing experience preferred
• Paint department experience is a plus
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure (required for all roles)
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs consistently
• Comfortable performing physical, hands-on work
