Shift: 1st | Mon–Fri | 6:30am–3:30pm

Machine Setup Technician Description:
Join a growing manufacturing team in Ball Ground where your mechanical expertise and attention to detail drive production success. In this role, you’ll be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and maintaining production equipment to ensure efficient, high-quality output.

Duties and Requirements:

• Set up and prepare production machinery based on work orders and job specifications
• Install, align, and secure tooling, dies, and materials for accurate production runs
• Adjust machine settings including speed, pressure, and alignment for optimal performance
• Conduct test runs and fine-tune equipment prior to full production
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime
• Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards
• Complete basic preventative maintenance and routine equipment cleaning
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and setup instructions accurately
• Maintain detailed production records and setup documentation
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
• Previous experience in machine setup, machine operation, or manufacturing preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and measurements
• Experience using hand tools and measuring equipment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
