Machine Repair Technician - Novi, Michigan
Contract position through August 8, 2027
Day Shift Position - Pay Rate up to $32.00 per hour
Duties of the Machine Repair Technician:- Maintains, installs, and repairs a variety of machine tools and equipment
- Tear down damaged or defective units
- May replace or repair worn or damaged parts or components and reassemble
- May perform some machining on replacement parts or may do electrical troubleshooting and repairs on CNC, manual, or other plant machines
- Perform preventative maintenance on building equipment, machines, mobile equipment
- Assists Machine Repair ad Mobile Equipment Mechanic as necessary
- May perform minor building maintenance including but not limited to Light Electrical, Plumbing, Cement Work, etc.
Skills required of the Machine Repair Technician:
Our customer is seeking a highly skilled machine maintenance technician. The tech will be doing daily tasks for all of the equipment our customer has at two locations in Novi. These tasks included preventative maintenance, repair of machines and equipment. Which includes all manual & CNC machines. The tech must how knowledge in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical repair.
A machine repair technician would know the concepts of lubrication. Would need to have had experience in changing oil and changing filters as well as tool changer operations. Rudimentary and elementary understanding of electrical components and circuit boards.
Requirements of the Machine Repair Technician:- 5-10 years experience with manual boring, CNC Milling, and Lathe machinery
- Minimum 3 yeas of consistent running of a CNC, but not in a production environment
