Job Responsibilities
Operate a mechanical punch press to manufacture metal parts
Load raw materials into the machine
Run production while monitoring machine performance
Remove finished products from the press
Perform visual quality inspections to ensure parts meet specifications
Use a measuring tape to verify dimensions
Follow production schedules and safety procedures
Keep the work area clean and organized
Report equipment or quality issues to supervisors
Work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Qualifications
Previous heavy industrial or manufacturing experience preferred
Must know how to use a measuring tape
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
Must be dependable and able to work overtime when required
Steel-toe work boots are required
Safety glasses and hearing protection are required
