    What You'll Do

    • Operate CNC and manual machines, including burn tables, press brakes, saws, and robotic equipment, to fabricate steel parts to specification.
    • Maintain strict quality control by inspecting parts, following blueprints and drawings, and ensuring all work meets safety and fabrication standards.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve machine or production issues quickly to minimize downtime and keep projects on track.
    • Perform routine maintenance and follow established safety and maintenance schedules to keep equipment running smoothly.
    • Collaborate with the Fabrication Foreman and team members to meet production goals, coordinate workflows, and adapt to changing priorities.

    What Success Looks Like

    • Within the first few months, you confidently and safely operate assigned CNC and manual machines with minimal supervision while consistently meeting quality standards.
    • Production targets are met or exceeded because you proactively identify issues, communicate clearly, and help keep jobs on schedule and on budget.
    • Safety protocols are followed without exception, with zero preventable safety incidents and a clean, organized work area.
    • Team members and foremen rely on you as a dependable operator who communicates well, responds to feedback, and takes ownership of your machines and output.

    What We're Looking For

    • Experience operating CNC machinery in a steel fabrication or similar industrial environment, with strong mechanical understanding of machine operation and basic troubleshooting.
    • Proven attention to detail and ability to read and follow blueprints, drawings, and quality control standards while maintaining an organized, efficient workspace.
    • Commitment to safety, including training in GHS/Hazcom or similar safety programs, and willingness to operate only the equipment you are trained to use.
    • Physical ability to perform strenuous work, including lifting up to 60 pounds, standing for extended periods, and working in noisy, dirty, and varying indoor/outdoor conditions.

    Compensation and Benefits

    • Competitive pay.
    • Access to top-tier safety programs, ongoing training, and clear opportunities for skill development and career growth.
    • Stable, structured work environment with clear expectations and support from experienced leaders.
    • Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) benefits.
