Pay: $19.00 to $28.60 per hour

Schedule: Full-time, Thurs 12:30a-6:30a & Fri-Sun 6:30p-6:30a

About the job
We are hiring a Press Cell Production to produce aluminum extrusions that meet customer specifications. In this role, you will operate production equipment, move materials, and support quality and delivery goals. The Press Cell Production plays an important part in keeping production running safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
What a Production Operator does
- Set up and operate extrusion press equipment and related machinery to produce aluminum extrusions to customer specifications.
- Move materials, dies, and finished product throughout the production process.
- Operate saws and other equipment to process and prepare material for shipment or the next operation.
- Verify manufacturing orders, follow quality procedures, and complete production transactions accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and support production schedules.
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to recognize safety concerns and work safely around manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to stand for most of the shift and perform frequent walking, bending, pushing, and pulling.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds. Items over 40 pounds require a team lift or crane.
Preferred (not required)
- Manufacturing experience.
- Experience reading drawings and inspecting parts to specifications.
- Experience operating production or material handling equipment.
