Machine Operator

Purpose:

Operate all department production machinery in an effective and efficient manner while adhering to established standards and safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to set up all Metalform equipment.
• Demonstrate proficiency with all functions required of Operator A1 and A2.
• Provide hands-on-job function training to team members as needed.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Report production status, issues, and relative information to supervisors.
• Adhere to quality standards and requirements.
• Adhere to all safety standards including maintaining a clean and organized work area to facilitate all manufacturing functions using 5S.
• May Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• 3-5 years' experience in production operations.
• Manual dexterity with the ability to use measuring instruments i.e. micrometers, vernier's and Go/NoGo.
• Ability to understand any and all safety requirements and cautions.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
