The CNC Operator will work in a fast-paced shop environment and will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Haas CNC mills and Haas CNC lathes . CNC Operator (Mills & Lathes)


Meador Manufacturing is a family-owned precision CNC machine shop in Walton Hills, Ohio. We produce high-quality machined parts in a shop that pairs modern equipment with a real family feel.


We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating milling machines and lathes, along with a strong understanding of machining processes. This role is critical to ensuring the production of high-quality components that meet our stringent quality standards. The CNC Operator will work in a fast-paced shop environment and will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Haas CNC mills and Haas CNC lathes.


Shift (floating schedule)

• Monday–Thursday: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Friday: 6:30 AM – Noon (optional overtime)
• NO WEEKENDS

What you’ll do

• Set up, operate, and maintain Haas CNC mills and Haas CNC lathes
• Load programs, install tooling, and set offsets
• Monitor first-piece and in-process quality; make adjustments as needed
• Read blueprints, work orders, and setup sheets
• Perform basic troubleshooting and keep machines running efficiently
• Move between mill and lathe work as production needs change
• Work with programmers, quality, and other operators to hit quality and delivery goals
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and accurate production documentation

What you bring

• Hands-on CNC mill and/or lathe experience (Haas experience is a plus)
• Strong understanding of machining processes
• Ability to read drawings and use precision measuring tools
• Attention to detail and a quality-first mindset
• Reliability on a consistent shop-floor schedule
• Team attitude and willingness to learn the Meador way
