Schedules Available:

• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Overtime as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous machine operator or manufacturing experience preferred
• Basic computer skills and data entry experience required
• Candidates with strong work history and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply

Job Duties

• Operate wire spooling machines used in the production of welding wire products
• Remove completed spools from machines and prepare materials for shipment
• Bag, tag, label, package, and stack products onto pallets
• Perform data entry and use computer systems to track production
• Utilize basic hand tools including staple guns, pliers, and glue guns
• Rotate between machines and production areas as needed
• Monitor machine performance and production quality
• Add flux materials to machinery during production processes
• Conduct quality inspections on finished products
• Perform butt welding of wire when required
• Re-string machines following wire breaks
• Cross-train on drawbench equipment that forms flat steel into tubular wire products
• Meet daily production quotas and quality standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred.
• Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Machine Operator.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.

What You Will Do

As a Machine Operator you will operate, monitor, adjust, and maintain manufacturing equipment to produce quality products according to production schedules and established procedures. You will inspect finished products, replenish materials, identify equipment issues, perform routine machine checks, maintain production records, and support safe, efficient manufacturing operations.
