Description
Moulder Operator / Machine Operator
Location: Stokesdale NC 27357
Duration: 5+ months (Possible extension )
Pay rate range: $18 –$20.60 /hr on w2 (All inclusive)
Work Schedule: 3: 00PM –1: 30AM Monday-Thursday;OT as needed
The primary purpose of the Moulder Operator (Trainee) is to learn all aspects of the Moulders, including safety, of oneself and crew to OSHA and Endura standards;quality per spec and production, and effectively execute customer specifications.
- Always wear proper PPE (eye and ear protection) and follow LOTO procedures.
- Ensure all employees follow safety rules and keep work areas clear (aisles, doors, panels, extinguishers).
- Maintain machines in safe working condition;use guards and proper handling techniques.
- Handle tooling safely using cut-resistant gloves;follow transport limits.
- Train team on safety, quality standards, and proper work practices.
- Monitor production efficiency, reduce waste, and understand materials and profiles.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Must achieve LOTO certification
- Assist with machine setup, tooling changes, startup/shutdown, and kerf saw setup.
- Support preventive maintenance (PM) and be available for required overtime if needed.
- Ensure smooth shift transitions and keep machines running efficiently.
- Must haves include…
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Basic math skills
- Read a caliper and tape measure to 1/32nd
- Able to read, write, and understand to interpret documents like specs
- Work well under pressure and be organized
- Self-motivated and work with a sense of urgency
- Able to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Able to communicate in a clear and effective manner
- Able to work safely and follow all plant rules
- Able to multi-task
Preferably one year experience in a manufacturing setting
Experience with
- Training and coaching others
- Operating a saw and other hand tools
- Lockout/Tagout procedures
- Lift 35lbs
- Stand for 10 hours straight
- Climb and descend stairs/ladder as needed for the role

- Withstand exposure to temperature extremes;sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable
- Be exposed to wood dust and aluminum with no factors or hazards present to a disagreeable extent
