Machine Operator Location: Pay Rate: $18 to $19 per year
Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and motivated Machine Operator to join a dynamic and growing production team. Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor assigned production machinery and equipment in a safe, efficient, and effective manner throughout each shift
Perform routine startup, shutdown, and changeover procedures according to established standard operating procedures
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet defined quality specifications and report any defects or inconsistencies to the appropriate supervisor
Conduct basic preventive maintenance tasks and promptly communicate equipment malfunctions to the maintenance department
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation at all times in compliance with workplace safety regulations
Accurately complete all required production logs, checklists, and documentation in a timely manner
Collaborate closely with team members, supervisors, and other departments to meet daily and weekly production targets
Follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment at all times
Participate actively in team meetings, safety briefings, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of six months of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment preferred
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify quality issues quickly and accurately
Demonstrated ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions and standard operating procedures
Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with industrial equipment and tools
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout an entire shift
Reliable attendance record and strong commitment to punctuality and consistency
Ability to work effectively both independently and as a cooperative member of a production team
Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, or weekends as required by production scheduling needs
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a related field is preferred
