Machine Operator

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Sheeter Operator to join their dedicated team. As a Sheeter Operator, you will be an essential part of the production department supporting operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Rochester, NY

Pay Range: $18-$19 per hour

Shift: A shift and C shift's avaialble 

What's the Job?

• Set up machines with proper guides and blades to cut materials to the correct size and grain direction for production or printing operations. 
• Run test sheets, inspect for defects, verify conformance to specifications, and adjust machinery as needed to maintain quality
• Enter production data, reconcile sheeted material, log job codes, and maintain inventory control
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operational activities

What's Needed?

• Previous experience in machine operating (1-3 years) 
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to troubleshoot and make adjustments to machinery
• Good communication and team work skills 
• Good hand dexterity and able to keep up with production needs
• Reliable transportation
