Job Title: Machine Operator

Shift: B shift (4PM-4:30AM) Monday - Wednesday

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our client's team in the manufacturing sector. In this role, you will contribute to providing safe, efficient, and reliable product and service delivery to customers, identifying opportunities to improve service delivery, and maintaining shop and field equipment.
Responsibilities
- Inspect documentation, parts, components, materials, sub-assemblies, and equipment against stated specifications.
- Perform manufacturing and engineering tests in compliance with applicable procedures and standard work.
- Assist in designing tests and fixtures and their set-up.
- Ensure all inspection and test activities are conducted safely and participate in creation and review of Hazard Analysis and Risk Control.
- Operate equipment according to procedures, competency levels, and job requirements.
- Participate in pre-job and Toolbox meetings with crew members.
- Plan and execute maintenance activities for a designated location.
- Identify opportunities to improve the service delivery process.
Requirements
- High school degree/GED or relevant experience
- Ability to read, understand and follow standardized work instructions
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Ability to perform basic math and computational problems
- Ability to use measuring devices to measure small parts
- Ability to setup, operate, and perform simple maintenance of equipment with assistance
- Ability to keep accurate activity logs and reports
- Must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship
- Completion of a background and medical check following federal employment guidelines
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
- Experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
- Familiarity with the principles and tools of the Manufacturing System
