Manufacturing Production Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Manufacturing Production Operator to support daily production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for moving and staging materials, operating sanding, winding, and other production machinery, inspecting finished products, and maintaining a safe and organized work area.

Responsibilities

• Move, load, unload, and stage raw materials, components, and finished products throughout the manufacturing facility.

• Operate sanding machines, winding machines, and various other production machinery.

• Set up and adjust machinery according to established production procedures.

• Monitor equipment during operation and make basic adjustments as needed.

• Follow work instructions, production schedules, and established manufacturing procedures.

• Perform visual inspections of materials and finished products for quality and defects.

• Use basic hand tools and measuring equipment as required.

• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.

• Keep work areas, machinery, and equipment clean and organized.

• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies.

• Perform material handling duties, including lifting and transporting materials.

• Assist with other manufacturing and production activities as assigned.

• Cross-train on multiple pieces of production equipment and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Previous manufacturing, production, machine operation, or material handling experience preferred.

• Ability to safely operate production machinery after training.

• Ability to read and follow written and verbal work instructions.

• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new equipment.

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a production environment.

• Ability to lift and move materials as required.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

• Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, and pull materials.

• Ability to work around manufacturing machinery, noise, dust, and production equipment.

• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Schedule

Multiple shifts may be available. Overtime may be required based on production needs.

First shift $18hr

2nd shif $18.75hr
