Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking a dependable Machine Operator to join a busy manufacturing team in Oklahoma City. This position is responsible for operating and monitoring production machinery, inspecting finished products, and maintaining quality and safety standards while meeting daily production goals.
The ideal candidate has previous industrial, construction, manufacturing, or general labor experience, strong measuring skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Required Experience & Skills
Previous industrial, construction, manufacturing, or general labor experience
Ability to accurately read tape measures, angle finders, and/or micrometers
Understanding of decimals and basic manufacturing measurements
Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
Ability to follow safety procedures, work instructions, and production standards
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
Additional manufacturing education or certification preferred
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operate and monitor production machinery to meet daily production goals
Inspect finished products to ensure established quality standards are met
Perform routine equipment checks and report mechanical or operational concerns
Monitor machine performance throughout production runs
Use measuring tools to verify product dimensions and accuracy
Complete basic production records and required documentation
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all company safety rules, standard operating procedures, and quality guidelines
Communicate equipment, production, and quality concerns to supervisors
Perform additional production duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment
Forklift and overhead crane experience
Experience using precision measuring instruments
10-key/data-entry experience
Mechanical aptitude and basic equipment troubleshooting skills
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and repetitive physical activity
Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday
Comfortable performing physical work in varying temperatures
Ability to safely work around production machinery and industrial equipment while wearing required PPE
Work Environment
Industrial manufacturing and production facility

Exposure to production machinery, forklifts, overhead cranes, industrial materials, and varying temperatures
MondaySaturday schedule with extended weekday hours
Schedule may be adjusted based on production requirements
