What You'll Do
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Operating and monitoring plastic manufacturing machinery to ensure optimal performance and output.
- Setting up equipment at the beginning of shifts, adjusting settings as needed, and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime.
- Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and reporting any equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Reviewing job orders to verify part numbers, quantities, and specifications for accurate production.
- Ensuring labels match job requirements and products are correctly transferred through the warehouse.
- Assembling boxes and safely stacking products on pallets for shipping or storage.
- Completing Production Verification sheets at shift start and end, submitting them to your supervisor.
- Following all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.
- Keeping your workspace clean, organized, and efficient to support safety and productivity.
What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, or prior manufacturing experience.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn new equipment functions quickly.
- Sharp attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Safety training or familiarity with safety protocols.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand comfortably for extended periods.
