Machine Operator Fremont IN
Pay 20 per hour
Schedule Monday through Friday 600pm to 600am
Possible half day on Fridays during busy production periods
We are looking for mechanically inclined Machine Operators who are dedicated to producing high quality parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates must be dependable detail oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate a variety of thread rolling and or heading machines
Select proper dies according to job instructions
Perform die changes and tooling adjustments
Work with engineering and maintenance to resolve machine or tooling issues
Follow safety procedures and maintain efficient production
Monitor product quality to ensure blueprint specifications are met
Use measuring tools including micrometers and calipers
Qualifications
Experience reading blueprints
Experience using micrometers and calipers
Strong basic math skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work in hot and cold environments
Ability to stand and bend during a 12 hour shift
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
