    Position Summary

    Achieves and maintains company-established goals for efficiency, quality, and safety by following all procedures.


    Main Responsibilities

    Holds overall line responsibility, from production to packaging:


    • Starts and stops the machine

    • Performs parison controls

    • Monitors material control (weight distribution, regrind levels, tail lengths, etc.)

    • Performs regular quality control and visual quality checks throughout the shift

    • Prepares the machine for mold changes

    • Ensures goods are produced in the correct quantity and to agreed specifications

    • Accurately records goods produced and problems encountered during the shift

    • Performs line clearance

    • Completes autonomous maintenance activities

    • Assists the Machine Operator II, Shift Supervisor, and Mold Change Team with mold and color changes as needed

    • Works as part of a team and helps the team operate as efficiently as possible

    • Maintains good housekeeping in and around the machine and within the department

    Qualifications and Requirements


    • High school diploma or equivalent required

    • Technical or mechanical background in the plastics industry preferred

    • Basic computer skills

    • Demonstrated mechanical ability
