Set up and operate slitter machines to cut and process rolls of printed materials.
Review job orders and production instructions to ensure materials are processed correctly.
Load rolls of material onto the machine and make necessary adjustments to tension, alignment, and feed settings.
Select and install the appropriate cutters, blades, and spacers.
Monitor the machine during production and watch for defects, irregularities, or quality issues.
Measure finished materials to ensure they meet required specifications.
Inspect printed tags, labels, heat-transfer materials, poly-film, and other products for quality.
Package and label finished products according to customer specifications.
Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records.
Make minor machine adjustments and report mechanical or production issues to a supervisor.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
