We are seeking a dependable Machine Operator to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating production equipment, ensuring product quality, and supporting daily production goals in a safe, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and enjoys working with machinery.
Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing equipment according to production specifications and work instructions.
- Set up, monitor, and make basic adjustments to machines to ensure efficient operation.
- Perform routine quality inspections and verify products meet company standards.
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and communicate larger concerns to maintenance or supervisors.
- Load raw materials and remove finished products from production equipment.
- Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and production documentation.
- Record production data and maintain accurate documentation.
- Keep equipment and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to meet daily production goals.
- Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures.
- Assist with additional manufacturing duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn new equipment and processes.
- Experience using hand tools, measuring devices, or reading blueprints is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic machine issues.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, and move throughout the shift.
