Machine Operator

JOB DESCRIPTION: *Operating CNC machines in a production environment *Selecting and loading the correct machine program in CNC settings *Performing machine setups, including tooling, fixtures, work offsets, and tool-length offsets *Reading blueprints, travelers, setup sheets, and engineering documents *Using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools *Identifying and reporting defective or nonconforming parts *Maintaining accurate production and inspection documentation *Monitoring coolant, lubrication, filters, pumps, and general machine condition *Cleaning chips, tooling, fixtures, carts, and the work area between jobs . JOB REQUIREMENTS: *Understand CNC setup and inspection processes while being able to verify programs, tooling, offsets, measurements, and finished parts *Computer and math skills *Strong mechanical experience *Comfortable working in a precision manufacturing environment *High School Diploma/GED; Vocational training or relevant on-the-job CNC experience may qualify
