Palletizer / Machine Operator
Penmac Staffing is seeking dependable Palletizers / Machine Operators for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a local manufacturing client in the Carthage area. This is a fast-paced production environment where employees play a key role in preparing products for shipment. Starting pay is $17.25 per hour, with opportunities for pay increases and long-term growth after being hired on by the client.Requirements for the Palletizer / Machine Operator
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds regularly throughout the shift
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to follow diagrams, instructions, and pallet patterns accurately
- Strong attention to detail and safety practices
- Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
- Previous machine operation or production experience is helpful but not required
Palletizer / Machine Operator Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery according to established procedures
- Remove boxes of finished product from production lines quickly and efficiently
- Stack and organize products onto pallets based on specific diagrams and palletizing requirements
- Ensure pallets are built correctly and prepared for wrapping and shipment
- Monitor product quality and report any issues to supervisors
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Support production goals by keeping pace with line speeds and workflow demands
