The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Machine Operator for a prominent client of ours. This position is in Beech Island, SC 29842. Details of the position are as follows:
Job Details:
· Pay: $22.00/hour
· Schedule: Full-time, 12-hour rotating shifts (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM), including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
· Duration: 4-month contract
· Location: Beech Island, SC
· Work Environment: 100% Onsite
Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Machine Operator II to support automated, high-speed manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role will work as part of a rotating production crew and will be responsible for safely operating equipment, troubleshooting production issues, maintaining accurate production records, and supporting warehouse and material handling activities. The ideal candidate has strong manufacturing experience, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
· Safely operate automated, high-speed manufacturing and packaging equipment
· Monitor production equipment and perform basic troubleshooting, adjustments, and minor repairs
· Support warehouse and material handling activities as needed
· Maintain accurate production, quality, waste, and operational records
· Communicate effectively with team members, leaders, contractors, and vendors
· Follow all safety procedures and properly utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE)
· Operate basic hand tools and computer systems to support production activities
· Work safely in industrial environments with high temperatures and elevated noise levels
· Lift up to 50 pounds and safely climb stairs, ladders, and ramps as required
Required Qualifications
· High School Diploma or GED required; Trade School certification or post-secondary education preferred
· 3+ years of manufacturing experience
· 1+ year of experience in a packaging, warehousing, industrial, or distribution environment
· Experience working in a GMP consumer goods manufacturing environment
· Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and problem-solving experience
· Basic computer skills and strong mathematical ability
· Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
· Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE
· Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively on a team
