Machine Operator (ID #502389)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining automated packaging equipment while ensuring product quality and production efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor automated machinery used in the production and packaging process
• Follow work orders, production schedules, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Perform routine machine adjustments to maintain optimal performance and minimize downtime
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards and specifications are met
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and escalate more complex problems to maintenance
• Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and scrap
• Ensure proper labeling, sealing, and packaging of finished goods
• Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance on equipment
• Follow all safety guidelines, GMP standards, and company policies
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S practices
• Assist with material handling, including loading raw materials and moving finished products

Qualifications:

• Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment preferred
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, instructions, and production documents
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Good communication and reliability

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motions

Schedule:

• 1st and/or 2nd shift availability (overtime may be required based on production needs)
