We are currently seeking talented individuals for both our Machine Operator I and Machine Operator II tiers. Candidates will be evaluated and placed based on their experience level, technical skill set, and operational mastery.
Position: Machine Operator I
Wage Range: $18.00 - $19.00 / hour
Summary & Objective: Use machinery to shape, shear, and manipulate metal into desired output, ensuring adherence to rigorous engineering standards.
Essential Functions:
- Operate assigned machines (roll formers, polishing lathes, pneumatic presses, and vices) following strict work instructions.
- Inspect processed material within specified tolerances.
- Use hand tools and calipers to accurately measure product dimensions.
- Track and systematically log job operations.
- Maintain and ensure controlled material custody and tracking.
Education & Experience:
- Required: Basic math skills.
- Preferred: Previous manufacturing experience; familiarity with aerospace manufacturing standards.
Position: Machine Operator II
Wage Range: $19.00 - $20.00 / hour
Summary & Objective: An advanced tier building fully upon Operator I proficiencies, focusing on complex setups, precision calculations, and peer training.
Essential Functions:
- Set up production machines independently for various job runs.
- Assist and support Machine Operator I team members with machine setups.
- Identify, install, and adjust proper tool sets and guides to achieve desired output results.
- Utilize calipers and specialized measuring tools to secure acceptable margins.
- Perform calculations down to the thousandth decimal place.
- Provide technical advice on tool adjustments using learned judgment.
- Troubleshoot, provide, or seek solutions for production issues and follow up to resolution.
- Train and coach new hires on safety, work practices, and role responsibilities.
Education & Experience:
- Required: Basic to moderate math skills.
- Preferred: 9 months of direct Machine Operator I experience.

Specific Requirements:
- Must have vision (natural or corrected) of 20/30 or better.
Work Environment: Well-lit and clean shop environment with a moderate noise level. Position involves direct contact with various metal materials and occasional chemical exposure (such as Acetone) during part cleaning.
