Machine Operator

FieldBridge is looking for Machine Operators (EDM and Honing) in Houston, TX. to work for the world's largest oilfield service company. We offer weekly pay + benefits.

Pay Rate/Schedule:

$20 - $25/hour | 1st Shift, 4:00 AM - 12:00 PM | Weekly pay every Friday | Overtime opportunities available | At $25/hr and 84 hrs/week, earn weekly paychecks of $2,650 gross.

Position Overview
FieldBridge is seeking experienced precision machine operators for two openings supporting manufacturing operations in Houston. The EDM Operator will set up, program, and operate Wire EDM, RAM EDM, and EDM Drill equipment. The Honing Operator will run horizontal honing machines to produce components to tight dimensional and surface finish specifications. Both roles involve overhead crane operation and require flexibility to cross-train on related equipment.

Key Responsibilities

EDM Operator:

• Set up, program, and operate RAM EDM, Wire EDM, and EDM Drill machines
• Interpret engineering drawings and process sheets to meet tolerance requirements
• Select and install electrodes, wire, tooling, and fixtures
• Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments
• Safely load/unload components using overhead cranes and approved rigging

Honing Operator:

• Operate horizontal honing machines (Sunnen or similar) for precision bore finishing
• Set up honing tools, stones, mandrels, and fixtures per work instructions
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to achieve required tolerances
• Perform in-process and final inspections using bore gauges, micrometers, and calipers
• Safely load/unload workpieces using overhead cranes and proper rigging

Required Qualifications

EDM Operator:

• 5 years of EDM machining experience preferred (Wire EDM, RAM EDM, EDM Drilling)
• Ability to perform machine setup and programming
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

Honing Operator:

• 5 years of honing machine operation experience preferred
• Direct experience operating horizontal honing machines
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
