**Position: Machine Operator

**Wages offered: $20.00-$22.00

**

**Location: Franklin Park, IL

**

**Schedule: 1st shift, Mon-Thurs 5:00 am-5:30pm /

2nd shift, Mon-Thurs - 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM / weekend shift Fri-Sun 5:00am-5:30pm (working 12 hours each day which is 36 hours but getting paid for 40 hours)

**Position Summary

**

Our client is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join their manufacturing team in Franklin Park. This position is responsible for operating manufacturing machinery utilized in a high-quality medical device manufacturing environment.

**Essential Responsibilities

**

• Set up and operate assembly equipment using prescribed methods and training to manufacture parts within acceptable tolerances and standards.

• Replace raw materials as required during the setup process and during continuous runs of production lots.

• Continuous monitoring of assembly equipment while making in-process adjustments to ensure the product conforms to the specification.

• Use required measuring instruments and gauges or scales to check and ensure products meet specifications

• Perform prescribed cleaning of equipment

• Perform routine general maintenance when scheduled

• Compliance with the client’s Quality System policies and procedures pertaining to manufacturing processes.

• Communicate clearly with personnel and the assigned work group.

• Perform work to meet all required quality specifications.

• Maintain and follow all safety standards.

• Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications

**

**Required:

**

High School Diploma or GED.

3 years of Manufacturing experience.

**Preferred:

**

Minimum 3 years of experience working with machinery in a manufacturing environment,

preferred.

Must be able to use measuring instruments, gauges, and scales.

Must demonstrate ability to manufacture products according to the procedures and drawings

while maintaining quality systems and standards.

Must be mechanically inclined and be able to think quickly in order to make in-process

adjustments in a timely manner.

Must have good communication skills.

Must be able to work in a team environment

Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time.

Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds without assistance.
