Machine operator (Folder/Cutter)Job Description
SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position will be responsible for setting up, troubleshooting and running our folding and other bindery machine equipment.
- Set up and operate mailing equipment
Machinery on our production floor
Pitney Bowes Flowmaster, Bell & Howell (B&H) Swing Arm Inserter, MBO folders, Challenge 30 cutter, various inkjet and bindery equipment as needed.
- Read and follow directions on job ticket
- Inspect samples for defects
- Troubleshooting any issues that may arise
- Stack mail according to postal regulations
- Perform minor maintenance to equipment as needed
Required skills and experience – including but not limited to:
- Must have minimum 2 -3 year previous Inkjet or Inserter experience
- Knowledge of USPS postal regulations
- Good verbal and written skills
- Willingness to work in a team like environment
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to learn new machinery as needed
Normal Hours: 7:00am – 4:00pm
Overtime – As needed
Temp To Hire
Pay is $17 - $20
