POSITION OVERVIEW
Hussey Copper, a Pantheon Electric company, is hiring dependable and safety-focused Machine Operators for our manufacturing facility in Eminence, KY.
In this hands-on manufacturing role, you will operate production machinery, assemble and cut metal components, inspect products, and help ensure all customer specifications are met. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow all safety, environmental, quality, and production standards.
- Operate industrial machinery to produce parts and components according to customer specifications.
- Monitor equipment to ensure machines operate safely, properly, and efficiently.
- Assemble and cut metal components according to specified requirements.
- Inspect materials and finished products for accuracy and quality.
- Maintain complete and accurate production records.
- Identify and report equipment, quality, or safety concerns.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment as required.
- Work collaboratively with production, maintenance, quality, and leadership teams.
- Perform other manufacturing and production duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least one year of industrial metal manufacturing experience.
- Basic knowledge of machine operation and production equipment.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations.
- Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety and environmental responsibility.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator, Production Operator, Manufacturing Associate, or Production Laborer.
- Forklift or material-handling experience.
- Experience working in metal manufacturing or an industrial production environment.
