$19.50–$19.75/hour | 2nd & 3rd Shift Available | Defiance, OH
We are seeking experienced Machine Operators with a background in food manufacturing to join our production team in Defiance, OH. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced industrial environment involving the operation of production equipment, mixing powdered products, monitoring quality, and maintaining strict sanitation standards.
SHIFTS
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM | $19.50/hour
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM | $19.75/hour
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up, operate, monitor, and shut down production equipment
- Mix and process powdered food products according to specifications and SOPs
- Monitor product quality and consistency throughout production
- Follow GMP, food safety, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas before, during, and after production
- Complete production checklists and required documentation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Assist with basic troubleshooting, maintenance, and other duties as needed
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous machine operating experience required
- Food manufacturing or food production experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Must have a stable work history
- Ability to follow SOPs, GMP, food safety, and sanitation procedures
- Must be reliable, safety-minded, and able to work as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
- Must be able to work overtime or schedule changes as needed
- Must pass a drug screen and background check

- Fast-paced, dusty, and noisy production environment
- Non-climate-controlled work environment with exposure to varying temperatures
- Exposure to powders, steam, chemicals, and combustible dust
- Wet or slippery surfaces and high-speed production equipment
- Frequent lifting, standing, stair climbing, and other physical activity required
- PPE required
