We are seeking experienced Machine Operators to join a well-established precision manufacturing operation in Rochester, NY. Multiple openings are available for candidates with experience operating CNC machining or sheet-metal fabrication equipment.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with Haas, Mazak, TRUMPF, Salvagnini, or similar CNC manufacturing equipment.

Job Details

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machining and/or sheet-metal fabrication equipment in a production environment
• Set up and load raw materials, parts, tooling, and fixtures as required
• Follow work orders, blueprints, drawings, and production specifications
• Monitor machine operation and make basic adjustments to maintain quality and production requirements
• Perform tool changes and offsets as appropriate based on equipment and experience
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment
• Verify dimensions and tolerances to ensure parts meet customer specifications
• Identify machine, tooling, or quality issues and communicate problems to supervisors or technical personnel
• Complete required production and inspection documentation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow established safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures

Equipment
Experience with one or more of the following is preferred:

• Haas CNC equipment
• Mazak CNC machining centers / mill-turn equipment
• TRUMPF laser cutting, punching, or press brake equipment
• Salvagnini automated sheet-metal fabrication equipment
• Comparable CNC machining, laser, punching, bending, or automated fabrication equipment

Qualifications

• Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment
• CNC machining or sheet-metal fabrication experience strongly preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Understanding of basic dimensions and tolerances
• Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
• Ability to recognize out-of-tolerance or quality issues
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a manufacturing team
