We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator - CNC to join our team in Mentor, OH. The ideal candidate will be quality minded and attentive to detail, ensuring precision and efficiency in operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts and components.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines according to specifications and blueprints.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform routine inspections and quality checks on finished products.
- Identify and troubleshoot machine malfunctions or defects.
- Maintain accurate production records and report any issues to supervisors.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Ability and willingness to cross-train on other machine platforms in the shop.
Skills & Qualifications
- Quality minded with a strong focus on producing defect-free work.
- Attentive to detail to ensure precision in machine operation and product quality.
- Experience operating CNC machines or similar manufacturing equipment preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
