Requirements

• Previous machine-operating or production experience
• Must pass a measurement assessment
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to complete basic mathematical calculations
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Basic hand-tool knowledge preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and learn machine operations
• Ability to organize work and materials efficiently
• Ability to stand, twist, kneel, and lift throughout the shift
• Strong teamwork skills
• Steel-toed boots, jeans, and a solid-colored T-shirt required
• Must pass a seven-year background check
• Must pass a 10-panel drug screening, including THC

Job Duties

• Set up and operate production machinery
• Inspect hardwood and plywood components
• Verify component sizes and measurements
• Organize five components for drawer-box assembly
• Apply glue and place components into a clamp
• Activate the clamp and inspect product fit
• Staple drawer bottoms
• Send completed products to inspection
• Correct or report nonconforming products
• Cross-train on up-cut saws, machining, and material handling
• Clean machinery and work areas daily
• Support team production goals

What You Will Do

As a Machine Operator you will operate, monitor, adjust, and maintain manufacturing equipment to produce quality products according to production schedules and established procedures. You will inspect finished products, replenish materials, identify equipment issues, perform routine machine checks, maintain production records, and support safe, efficient manufacturing operations.

The Machine Operator supports manufacturing success by operating production equipment according to established safety and quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and dependable work habits throughout every shift.
