Title: Machine Operator/Assembler

Location: Freeport, IL 61032

**4 Opening for : 1st shift (6a-2p) at $20/hr on w2 **

**5 Openings for: 2nd shift (3pm to 11pm) at $21.50/hr on w2

OVERVIEW:**

As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality products and services for our customers. Your main responsibilities will include preparing parts for a furnace operation, monitoring furnace performance, loading/unloading furnace, and ensuring the highest level of quality are being produced.

For 2nd shift hires- training will be from the hours of 6am-2pm for up to one month before transitioning to 2nd shift.

Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient work area, setting up and monitoring production, and actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, production, and quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed.

• Assemble and load key components into Furnace.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

• Excellent observation skills to identify key details and potential issues.

• Assist with troubleshooting machine issues and performing routine maintenance tasks.

• Creative thinking and idea generation to contribute to process improvements.

• Strong analytical skills to analyze information and concepts effectively.

• Ability to communicate information clearly and effectively.

YOU MUST HAVE

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Previous Machining experience.

• Strong technical skills and ability to operate machinery and equipment.

• Ability to lift 30 pounds on a regular basis.
