We are looking for a skilled Machine Operator to set up, maintain and operate machinery. You’ll ensure the interminable and efficient running of production. The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits.
Responsibilities
- Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycleControl and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
- Feed raw materials or parts to semi-automated machinesInspect parts with precision and measuring tools
- Test operation of machines periodicallyFix issues that might occur during the shift
- Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flawsKeep records of approved and defective units or final products
- Maintain activity logs
Requirements
Proven experience as a machine operator - Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools Understanding of production procedures
- Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
- Analytical skillsAttention to detail
- Teamwork and communication skillsPhysical stamina and strength
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus
Education and/or Experience
HS Degree or GED - 1+ years machining experience preferred or a recent certificate in precision machining or related fieldExperience operation Swiss/Citizen/Doosan CNC machines strongly preferred
Physical Demands• Maximum lifting/carrying of 50 lbs
WORK Environment
Machine Shop environment which may require the use of industrial hearing protection and/or other personal protective equipment
Pay: $19 and up base on experience
Schedule:8 hour shift - Monday to Friday
