Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Machine Operator workers for a ceramics manufacturing company in Alexandria, MN. What You’ll Do as a Machine Operator:- Set up, operate, and maintain production machinery
- Adjust machine speeds and load/unload parts as needed
- Perform routine quality checks to ensure product conformity
- Clean parts and prepare them for follow-on operations
- Monitor production needs and document activity in logs, spreadsheets, and work orders
- Complete transactions in the ERP system
- Support teamwork and a positive production environment
What You Need to Bring to the Machine Operator Role:- High school diploma or equivalent
- Manufacturing or mechanical experience preferred
- Basic math and computer skills
- Knowledge of basic machine operation, tools, and measurement devices
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with small parts and tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
