Machine Operator - 2nd shift

Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine cleaning, minor repairs, and preventive maintenance checks; troubleshoot mechanical issues when they happen. Adecco is hiring for Machine Operators in Peabody! These are temp to perm positions on 2nd shift.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 230pm-1am

Pay rate: $26-28 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Setup & Calibration: Prepare, calibrate, and adjust machinery before and during production runs to ensure optimal performance.

• Material Handling: Load raw materials, parts, or components into semi-automated or automated equipment.

• Monitoring & Operation: Watch machinery during operation to spot problems, test performance, and keep production moving at the right speed.

• Quality Control: Inspect finished parts and products using measuring tools to detect flaws or misalignments.

• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine cleaning, minor repairs, and preventive maintenance checks; troubleshoot mechanical issues when they happen.

• Record Keeping: Log production output, document defective or approved units, and report major issues to supervisors.

• Safety & Cleanliness: Follow all health and safety rules, wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and keep the work area clean.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

• Experience: Prior experience working with industrial machinery in a warehouse, factory, or production setting.

• Mechanical Aptitude: Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to use hand tools and read technical manuals or blueprints

• Math & Measurement: Basic math skills and familiarity with precision measuring instruments.

Pay Details: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour
