    Your Role: Machine Operator
    You’ll be responsible for programming, operating, and monitoring multiple machines to produce high-quality fins according to work order specifications. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive mindset.
      
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Read and interpret detailed work order instructions.
    • Load raw aluminum material onto machines using a chain hoist.
    • Program and operate multiple machines simultaneously.
    • Use basic hand tools such as wrenches and hex keys to make machine adjustments.
    • Inspect product quality continuously throughout the process.
    • Label, document, and sort fins for the next step in production.
    • Perform preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting on equipment.  
    • Conduct tolerance checks as required by work instructions.
    • Meet daily and weekly production quotas as directed by the Lead or Supervisor.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
    • Use basic computer skills to input production data, complete checklists, and follow electronic work instructions.
    • Promptly report any equipment or product issues to the Supervisor.
    • Follow all environmental and safety procedures

    • Ability to stand (80%) and walk (20%) during the shift.
    • Must be able to bend, stoop, pull, push, twist, and turn.
    • Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally (approximately 15% of the time).
    • Use of pallet jacks, chain hoists, and other standard shop equipment.
