MARS Solutions Group is looking for an experienced Machine Operator2nd Shift in Lomira, WI. Our client is a recognized leader in the wear-resistant cutting components industry and is looking for a quality-focused professional who can make a meaningful impact.
Position Overview
Seeking a dependable Machine Operator to operate production equipment, load/unload parts, perform basic quality inspections, and follow established machine settings and safety procedures. The ideal candidate has manufacturing or machine-operation experience, basic mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn different types of equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate production equipment such as shot/media blasters, tempering ovens, robotic stackers, band saws, and straightening presses.
Load and unload parts while meeting production requirements.
Follow machine settings, work instructions, production prints, and routings.
Perform basic quality inspections using handheld measuring tools.
Operate material-handling equipment such as boom cranes and hand jacks.
Assist with machine setups, troubleshooting, and other production activities.
Complete production orders and documentation in the computer system.
Perform 5S, basic preventive maintenance, and housekeeping activities.
Follow all safety, quality, and production requirements.
Learn additional equipment and processes as skills develop.
Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Previous manufacturing or machine-operation experience preferred.
Ability to read and follow work instructions, blueprints/prints, routings, and inspection requirements.
Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Willingness to learn new machinery and processes.
Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail.
Reliable attendance and consistent work history.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented production environment.
Ideal Candidate
Candidates with experience operating presses, stamping equipment, blasting equipment, ovens, saws, straightening equipment, or similar production machinery are encouraged to apply. Advanced CNC programming or robotics experience is not required. General manufacturing experience and a willingness to learn are highly valued.
