Reporting to a Manager or Supervisor, Group Leads encourage teamwork and collaboration and drive assigned goals. Their priorities are safety, quality, continuous improvement and employee engagement. The position requires strong communication, problem solving and time management skills, the ability to work effectively with people and technical expertise in the specific work to be performed. The position demands strong problem solving and communication skills, and the ability to drive a team to meet performance targets. Individuals must possess a strong understanding of production manufacturing and lean processes and be able to lead by example.
