Location: Bolingbrook, IL 60490
Pay Rate: $20.81 per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday - Friday | 2:00 AM - 10:00 PM

Position Summary

Total Staffing Solutions (Powered by TTR) is seeking a Machine Operator for a food manufacturing facility in Bolingbrook, IL. This is a performance-to-hire opportunity on 2nd Shift. The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating high-speed packaging equipment, ensuring product quality standards are met, and maintaining a safe and efficient production environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate high-speed packaging machinery safely and efficiently.

• Set up machines according to product specifications and production requirements.

• Monitor metal detectors, check weighers, and scales to ensure product quality.

• Perform quality checks, net weight verification, and label inspections.

• Replenish packaging materials such as film, labels, and other supplies.

• Complete production, quality assurance, and operational documentation accurately.

• Follow all GMP, Safety, and Allergen Control procedures.

• Assist with machine changeovers, cleaning, and sanitation activities.

• Support Packers and move materials throughout the production area as needed.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous Machine Operator experience in a manufacturing environment required.

• Food manufacturing and GMP experience preferred.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Basic math and computer skills required.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently and up to 80 lbs. with assistance.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift.

• Comfortable working in a food production environment with exposure to spice dust and food manufacturing conditions.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
