Machine Operator Responsibilities
Set up, adjust, and operate slitting machines
Load materials onto machines and adjust settings based on specifications
Monitor machine operations, gauges, and control boards
Inspect materials for defects or machine malfunctions
Package, handle, and protect finished materials
Assist other operators with setup, adjustments, and production needs
Complete work orders and production reports accurately
Follow all safety procedures and maintain awareness around operating equipment
Perform additional production floor duties as assigned
Previous tow motor or forklift experience preferred
Ability to read a tape measure accurately
Previous manufacturing, production, or machine operating experience preferred
Strong attention to detail
Safety-focused and dependable
Willingness to learn and follow training instructions
