Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM
Overtime: Fridays, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, as needed

Hire Sync is looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined Machine Operator to join a well-established manufacturing company in Kent, OH! If you enjoy working with your hands, learning new equipment, and taking pride in producing quality products, this could be a great opportunity for you.

This is an opportunity to work with specialized machinery, develop valuable manufacturing skills, and enjoy a consistent four-day workweek with opportunities for Friday overtime.

What You'll Do

• Operate specialized pouring machines, die-cutting presses, belt sanders, and slitters.
• Follow setup sheets and work instructions to adjust machine settings and produce quality parts.
• Prepare, install, remove, and clean molds as needed for production.
• Fill molds with the correct amount of material according to production specifications.
• Remove finished parts from molds, trim excess material, and prepare products for packaging.
• Perform repetitive assembly, labeling, and packaging tasks.
• Monitor production quality and perform inspections using measuring tools and hardness testers.
• Identify machine issues, product defects, or materials that do not meet specifications.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting and machine adjustments to maintain production quality.
• Maintain production equipment, molds, tools, and work areas.
• Complete production paperwork and quality documentation accurately.
• Follow all safety procedures and work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.

What We're Looking For

• Mechanical aptitude and an interest in operating manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to follow written instructions, setup sheets, and basic technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Good hand-eye coordination and comfort performing repetitive, hands-on tasks.
• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new equipment.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn different machines and production processes.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience is a plus. We're especially interested in reliable individuals who are mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and take pride in doing the job right.
