What You’ll Do
Machine Operation
- Operate complex manufacturing equipment according to specifications
- Monitor machine settings and production processes
- Adjust operating parameters as needed
- Follow established production and safety procedures
- Monitor production output and equipment performance
- Help train other machine operators
Machine Setup
- Perform machine setups and changeovers
- Install and adjust tooling
- Verify machine settings before production
- Follow setup procedures and documentation
- Help identify opportunities to improve machine setup and production processes
Quality Inspection
- Perform in-process quality checks
- Inspect products using gauges, measuring devices, and inspection tools
- Identify defects or quality issues
- Verify products meet specifications
- Document quality issues and production information
Troubleshooting & Problem Solving
- Identify routine machine and production problems
- Troubleshoot equipment issues
- Make minor machine adjustments
- Document problems and solutions
- Work with maintenance, quality, and production teams when additional support is needed
Production & Teamwork
- Monitor production rates and machine efficiency
- Participate in shift handoffs and production meetings
- Communicate equipment or production concerns
- Work with maintenance, quality, and planning teams
- Follow workplace safety and equipment operating procedures
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of experience in machine operation, manufacturing, production, or a related field
- Experience working with manufacturing equipment
- Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions and technical documents
- Experience using measuring tools, gauges, or quality inspection equipment
- Basic computer skills for equipment interfaces and production data entry
- Understanding of manufacturing quality and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to troubleshoot routine equipment issues
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Comfortable working a 12-hour shift schedule
Technical or vocational training is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods
- Good physical stamina
- Ability to safely operate and monitor manufacturing equipment
