Machine Operator I – Special Products
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Day Shift)
Location: Arlington, TX
We are currently hiring a Machine Operator I to join our Special Products team. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone dependable, hands-on, and ready to work in a manufacturing environment.
Position Summary
Prepare and operate machines to produce high-quality products while following safety and production standards.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare machines for production and verify safe operating parameters
- Load and unload parts from machines
- Inspect finished parts for quality
- Repair minor defects as needed
- Clean molds and equipment
- Perform buffing and brush painting
- Use hand tools, including X-Acto knives
- Ensure materials are ready and available for production
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
What We’re Looking For:
- Entry-level – works under close supervision
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Ability to convert basic weights and measurements
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Problem-solving ability
- Manufacturing experience is a plus but not required
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged standing
- Frequent bending, pushing, pulling, and stooping
- Lifting requirements vary by department (20–50+ lbs)
- Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions (heat in summer, cold in winter)
