Pay & Schedule

1st Shift

• $20.00/hour

• Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM

• Must be available for overtime on Fridays

Weekend Shift

• $23.00/hour ($20.00 base + $3.00 shift differential)

• Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM

• Must be available for overtime as needed

Overview

The Machine Operator I is responsible for operating CMC machinery to manufacture quality parts while following established safety, ISO, production, and quality standards. This position requires the ability to read blueprints, use measuring instruments and basic hand tools, complete quality documentation, and work accurately in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate one or more CMC machines using standard machine controls, including start, stop, and emergency stop functions.

• Read and interpret CMC blueprints and dimensional specifications down to .000.

• Use calipers and other measuring instruments to verify part dimensions and quality.

• Use basic hand and power tools, including air guns, wrenches, and drill presses.

• Complete production paperwork, quality forms, inspection records, and other required documentation accurately.

• Perform daily inspections and follow established quality control procedures.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with ISO and housekeeping standards.

• Follow safety rules, operating instructions, procedure manuals, and technical diagrams.

• Identify basic production or quality issues and apply problem-solving skills as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred.

• Ability to read blueprints and understand detailed dimensional specifications.

• Experience using calipers or similar precision measuring instruments.

• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools.

• Basic math skills with the ability to work with measurements and technical information.

• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively and follow written and verbal instructions.

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

• Must be able to meet medical examination requirements if assigned to the powder coat area.
