    Description

    Nolato Vermont is hiring an experienced Machine Maintenance Technician to join our team. What needs to be fixed? Depends on the day.

    As a Machine Maintenance Technician, it's up to you to make sure every machine, motor, pipe, and system in our clean, climate-controlled production facility is up to the task.

    How you'll contribute to the team:

    • You'll work in our clean, climate-controlled production facility.
    • You'll be responsible for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of molding machines and plant systems and auxiliary equipment.
    • Depending on the day, you'll be installing, repairing, and maintaining our machinery and the facility's equipment.
    • You'll also be relied on to check performance and run diagnostics on damaged equipment to determine whether or not replacements or repairs need to happen.

    Who you are:

    • To succeed in this role, you must have a mechanical aptitude, a knack for details and problem-solving, and a High School diploma or GED equivalent.
    • Work history in medical device manufacturing, injection molding, or automation is helpful, but any experience in machinery, facilities maintenance, or automotive maintenance is useful.
    • Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems is a must, while PLC programming is preferred.
    • We have to keep production running. You must be able to address and solve problems with a variety of people.
    • You must care about doing the little things right, showing up on time, and being a helpful and respectful teammate.
    • You must be able to independently read and interpret documents such as safety rules, written instructions, operating, and quality procedures.
    • You should be able to accurately create detailed reports and records for management.
    • You must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift and carry up to 55 lbs.
    • You must have the flexiblity to work additional hours and weekends when needed and provide own general mechanic"s tools, such as wrenches, sockets, screwdirver"s, etc.
