Machine Maintenance Technician

Repairs and maintains machinery, mechanical/electrical equipment through inspection, troubleshooting, and evaluation to determine root cause of problems. Basic Qualifications (BQs): Education and Experience: 18 years old and eligible to work in the USA with 2 years prior machine maintenance experience.

Position: Machine Maintenance Technician
Location: 15505 W 113th St, Lenexa Kansas 66219
Pay Rate: $25/hr on weekly Pay on W2
Shift Schedule: First Shift - Monday – Friday | 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM
Contract Length: 3 Months


Responsibilities:

• Repairs and maintains machinery, mechanical/electrical equipment through inspection, troubleshooting, and evaluation to determine root cause of problems. Disassembles machines and repairs or replaces broken parts. Adjusts functional parts of mechanical devices as necessary.

• Cleans and lubricates parts, orders replacement parts, inspects completed repairs and returns equipment to Adapts procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet special needs.
• Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues.

 
Basic Qualifications (BQs):

• Education and Experience: 18 years old and eligible to work in the USA with 2 years prior machine maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical/electrical understanding of complex Use of basic hand tools and power tools.
• Knowledge of machine tools and their use.
• Knowledge of basic electrical and electronic repairs.

 
Preferred Qualifications (PQs):

• Education: HS/GED
• Experience: 3 years prior machine maintenance experience.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Mechanical
• Ability to follow diagrams, schematics, manuals, instructions and engineering specifications.
