Machine Builder

Location: Akron, Ohio
Pay: $20.00–$28.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
Overtime: Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM as needed

We are hiring an experienced Machine Builder for a full-time position in Akron, Ohio. This is a hands-on position for someone with experience assembling industrial machinery, equipment, and mechanical components.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble industrial machinery and equipment

• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions

• Install mechanical components, hardware, motors, drives, and related equipment

• Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment

• Perform mechanical adjustments and alignments

• Troubleshoot assembly issues and make necessary corrections

• Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy and quality

• Maintain a safe and organized work area

• Complete assigned builds accurately and efficiently with minimal supervision

Qualifications

• Previous machine building, equipment assembly, or industrial mechanical experience required

• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and blueprints

• Experience using hand and power tools

• Strong mechanical aptitude

• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues

• Experience with industrial machinery or custom equipment is preferred

• Ability to work independently and follow project specifications
